1. 笃定学任何东西都有用，只是不知道什么时候会用到而已。

这是我个人跨越一个人生重要局限的根本 。我在《把时间当作朋友》一书中着重讲解了这事儿。不过，好像读者更看中的是其它内容。比如，《关于人脉的逻辑》这篇文章（这个标题应该是转载者取的，你可以Google搜索一下），在网上转载了不知道多少遍——说实话，这篇文字还真不是那本书中我最得意的内容。

2. BASIC编程语言

很小的时候，在延边少年宫参参加金老师的培训班，学了这东西，后来还得了东三省青少年计算机竞赛冠军。儿时这一点训练，给我以后的一生养成了一个习惯：无论做什么事情，都会先在脑子里演练很多遍，确保开始执行的时候尽量无差错地出结果。最终，我成了一个Professional mind game player。

3. 英语

我从小双语（中文、韩文），初中学过日语，转学后改成英语，30岁之后开始读法语小说……其中最重要的，只能是英文——让我接触到无数有趣的领域。最好的文献，都是用英文看的。

4. 概率统计

上大学的时候，读的是会计。会计，基本上加减乘除就可以了，用得到微积分的，都是精算师。所以，大家好像对概率统计并不感冒。我不好赌，但喜欢研究赌博游戏，于是必然读过很多概率的书。大学期间，迷上了有关统计和概率的一切。现在回头想，这是我最有力的思考武器之一了。

5. 非形式逻辑

26岁前后，我突然发现自己的思考能力有很多缺陷——这很痛苦。于是，在图书馆里找了很多很多关于Critical Thinking的书籍，一本一本地看，一个字不拉地看。甚至，为了逼自己只字不漏，Beyond Feelings这本书，我干脆在Word里看着书敲了一遍（今天你在互联网上搜索这本书名，能够下载到的doc版本，看文档信息，应该能看到2km的名字……那是我曾经用过的nickname）。这也是后来我教TOEFL/GRE/GMAT/SAT之时，学生能隐约感到我与众不同的根本原因——逻辑训练，尤其是自我训练，真的是路漫漫。

6. 如何选书

母亲退休前，在延边医学院图书馆工作。我从小在图书馆长大，于是，从小对书就不陌生。知道怎么选书，知道怎么在一本书、多本书中迅速找到自己需要的内容。我在这里仔细讲过：如何选书。

7. 如何使用Google

所谓的Research，我的理解很朴素，就是search, search, and REsearch. 以前我们只能依赖图书馆。不过，话说我都有10多年根本就没有进过图书馆了。基本上只靠Google。当然，目前我关注的一些领域，进图书馆也没有用——因为印刷版的书籍里还根本没有相关内容。如果谁要问我，最容易变现的知识是什么，我会说：“如何使用Google”。

最后还有一个格外重要的，是一个之前“猜想”——当然现在已经是被我的经历证明过的猜想：好运，甚至意外的好运，是可以创造的。这个需要我以后花时间精力仔细陈述——尽管上一篇文章已经提过。

前天，在车库咖啡与人分享，两个半小时的过程中，我脑子里一直有个悬念——关于牙膏的洗脑营销，我是从什么时候开始注意到的呢？

由于当时在讲座，容不得过分溜号。讲座结束之后，在手机的notes上加了一条。今天才想起来去检索 。

现在搞清楚了，几年前学法语的时候，曾经读过一本2000年出版的小说，99 francs，作者是Frédéric Beigbeder（百度上也有这家伙的页面：弗雷德里克·贝格伯德），一个帅得令人发指，聪明得逆天，对自己的生活要求严格且蔑视一切世俗陈规的家伙——比如，他对自己的要求之一是，“要有稳定的婚姻和稳定的外遇”……

99 Francs，中译本叫《￥19.99》。2007年，Jan Kounen导演了同名电影。

这对我来说，就是意外的好运（Serendipity）。我读书，尽管很挑，但仅限于挑剔质量，而非限制领域——我什么都读。阅读文字，于我，是最简单直接的消遣方式。

由于从未给自己预设范围，所以，最终，总是、经常，我会得到很多意外的有用信息，即，意外的好运，在阅读当中，于我来讲再正常不过。

比特币慈善捐款现进入第三阶段。

原本打算的比特币实体币3D打印拍卖方案，目前已取消——主要是因为各种法律上的麻烦。（不过，我和田甲依然会打印出若干个，有兴趣的朋友可以在微博上给我发私信。）

到目前为之，募捐期间最高汇率为$167。我将以此价格将募捐到的比特币折算成人民币。按当前美元兑人民币汇率6.14计算：

31.54615348 *167 * 6.14 = 32346.7948

取整，而后在填充零头，此次善款总额就算做是33,000元人民币。

本次募捐共100笔捐款，总计31.54615348 BTC。因此本次义拍共计32个比特币，每个比特币的面额均为1BTC，截至2013年4月24日，mtgox上1比特币兑换146美元，折合人民币约900元，因此起拍价暂定900元人民币。（尽管此后BTC价格可能上涨，但考虑到起拍价格是拍卖成交最低价格，所以，可以不必考虑BTC价格此后的涨跌。涨无所谓，而BTC价格跌的时候，由于起拍价格已经锁定，所以善款不会有损失。）

拍品为一枚经过特殊设计的比特币纪念币，每一枚纪念币内部都包含一张印有blockchain在线钱包凭证的二维码，最终拍得者拿到实物后，可自行同步在线钱包，其中的余额与纪念币的面额相等，为1比特币。我们确保销毁除该物理凭证之外存在于外界的一切登录信息；但为了安全起见，建议拿到实物后立即转账其中的比特币余额到自己的钱包。

这也是一次将比特币具象化的尝试，用户指南亦随纪念币附送。

Since China is of a country with restrict financial regulation (it is not allowed to sell/exchange "virtual currency" into RMB without specific license), I originally planned use my own RMB deposit. 

However, one of my friend proposed a workaround:
